    Lithium batteries are widely used in real life, but due to the characteristics of lithium batteries, Improper use can bring some dangers, such as explosion, burning and so on. During the safety test, the transient current of the simulated lithium battery will be too large. Due to factors such as ohmic impedance, a large amount of heat will be generated inside the lithium battery in a short time. Due to the limitation of the structure of the lithium battery, these heat can not quickly spread to the outside of the battery, resulting in the high temperature of the lithium battery, Thus, the decomposition and combustion of active substances and electrolyte are triggered, resulting in thermal runaway.

 

     In the process of lithium battery safety test, we can cooperate with the heat flow sensor AMS series (heat flow below 200kW / m2) or GTT series (large heat flow above 100kW / m2) produced by our company to measure the heat flow generated by combustion or explosion. Such test is very necessary for lithium battery.
